Get ready to break the glass ceiling. An homage to the “working woman” films and sitcoms of the late 80s and early 90s, 9 to 5 delivers Bad Dog’s signature brand of smart, on-point improv with retro flair.

9 to 5 brings you behind the scenes of the production of a woman’s magazine in the early 1990s, and into the working lives of the women (and men) that produce it. 9 to 5 takes you back to a time when lips were frosted, shoulders were padded, hair was regrettable, and tough women were just trying to make it big in a man’s world.

Directed by Kirsten Rasmussen (2014 Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Best Female Improviser), group of Toronto’s top improvisers are punching-in this August to present 9 to 5. The cast includes Leigh Cameron (Tales of Whoa, Best of Fringe, 2013 Fringe Festival), Becky Johnson (2014 Dora Mavor Moore Award nominee, All Our Happy Days Are Stupid; The Sufferettes), Evany Rosen (2014 Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Best TV Show, Best Female Performance in a Web Series, Space Janitors), Hannah Spear (2014 Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Best Female Performance in a Web Series, Versus Valerie), Alex Tindal (Henri Faberge’s Heligoland Follies; Henri Faberge’s Feint of Hart, and Anders Yates (Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Uncalled For).
