Her latest, Schachner Vs. Schachner, is a dark autobiographical comedy charged with the energy and hoopla of a Vegas-style fight. But don’t come looking for battle-scarred boxers, the match-up here is between Schachner and her past, especially memories of her parents’ headline-grabbing divorce, a fiasco that included a hit-man, an undercover cop and plenty of “evidence.” Nominated for “Best Solo Show” Fringe Freak Award and “Best Female Performance” Spirit of the Fringe Award, Schachner Vs. Schachner, toast of the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2014, enjoys an encore presentation at Theatre Asylum Lab.
