Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Live Up to Their Reputation for Rocking
Lancaster Performing Arts Center (Lancaster, CA)

Guitarist Joan Jett topped the Billboard charts with the 1982 hit “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” and became a role model for aspiring female rockers everywhere. Her hard rock riffs, leather-clad looks and brash singles like “Bad Reputation” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You” kept her in demand throughout the ’80s. She went on to produce tracks for emerging punks and rock acts, but reunited with the Blackhearts in the ’00s to open for the likes of Aerosmith and Motörhead. Tonight, Jett and her band are the star attraction and they’ll crank out their multi-platinum classics.
