The Groundlings Theatre (Los Angeles, CA)
Whether it’s wearing a Speedo on national television, getting a bird caught in his wig during a network run through, or getting cast as an international terrorist serial killer who only kills super models, Groundlings alumnus Tim Bagley has had his share of humiliating experiences navigating the world of the Hollywood actor. Now, he’s here to share all of the painfully hilarious details with you in his new one-man show, No Actors Allowed!. During his time with the Groundlings main company, Bagley won two LA Weekly awards, one for Best Solo Comedy Performance (Groundlings, Pretty Groundlings) and the other for Best Ensemble (Groundlings, Good and Twenty). His play Happy Hour won the 1999 Jury Award for Best One-Person Show at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. You might recognize him from roles in Knocked Up, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
