Travel back in time to a Christmas in the golden age of radio with Long Beach Shakespeare Company’s annual production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Mike Austin returns as Scrooge in Orson Welles’ 1939 adaptation of Dickens’ holiday classic performed in the style of vintage radio dramas, complete with live foley sound effects and music. Everyone knows the story of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who goes on a redemptive journey with when he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Now you can experience this timeless tale in a fresh way, with the added charm of a live audio performance, which will be webcast live.
