The Arsenio Rodriguez Project at Grand Annex (San Pedro, CA)

Salsa Music and History Celebrated by Top Los Angeles Musicians

Grand Annex (San Pedro, CA)

The Arsenio Rodriguez Project

Arsenio Rodriguez is known as the Father of Salsa Music, and with good reason. In the 1940s and 1950s the Cuban musician developed the template that would become modern-day salsa, not to mention the beginnings of mambo. The man knew how to make a room move. To honor his legacy, some of Los Angeles’ top musicians have banded together to create the Arsenio Rodriquez Project, an ensemble that will perform many of his classic songs.
