Westside Ballet Brings The Nutcracker to Life

Audiences of all ages will enjoy the magical story of young Clara, who dreams that her new toy nutcracker soldier has come to life. Together they experience a fantastical adventure that leads them through an epic battle with the Rat King to the Sugar Plum Fairy’s magical Kingdom of Sweets. Westside Ballet’s rendition is the complete, traditional ballet, from the Victorian-style party scene to the glittering Sugar Plum Fairy. Special effects include a growing Christmas tree, a firing cannon and falling snow.
