Harvelle’s Long Beach (Long Beach, CA)

For those who like their country with a little punk rock attitude (or their punk with a little country twang), there’s Hillbilly Stomp, a raucous night of rockabilly bands, burlesque and more at Harvelle’s Long Beach. Doug C and the Blacklisted mine influences ranging from Hank Williams Sr. to Black Flag for a sound that has one foot in traditional western swing and the other in the underground. Also hitting the stage are The Delta Bombers and The Back Alley Barbers. Plus, burlesque dancer Molly D’Amour presents Apple Butter Babies. And it wouldn’t be a Hillbilly Stomp without a full bar and plenty of dancing, so come prepared to get rowdy.
