Solo Show Out My Window Chronicles Working at a Hollywood Storage Company
Odyssey Theatre (Los Angeles, CA)

A different, rarely explored side of Hollywood Boulevard emerges in Out My Window, Los Angeles playwright Ernest Kearney’s account of his time spent as an employee of a storage company on the famous street. Part of Odyssey Theatre’s series of solo performances, this one-man show draws from more than 9,000 photos Kearney took on the job, chronicling the off-beat characters who were fixtures of his surreal work environment. In the tradition of great California storytellers such as Huell Howser, Out My Window finds fascinating, tenderly wrought moments in unexpected places.
