Arthur Miller Drama The Price Pits Brother Against Brother
Mark Taper Forum (Los Angeles, CA)

Arthur Miller’s masterpiece The Price brings together two long-estranged brothers — one a cop of limited means, the other a successful doctor — in the attic of a New York City brownstone as they sort through their deceased parents’ belongings. Decades of sacrifice, resentment, bitterness and jealousies ignite when the fraternal debate moves beyond the value of the items to the values and successes of their own lives. In celebration of Miller’s centennial, Tony Award-winner Garry Hynes directs this provocative new production at L.A.’s Mark Taper Forum.
