Legendary animator and filmmaker Ralph Bakshi pushed the boundaries of what “cartoons” could be thanks to his controversial and challenging work. The director will be in person at the Aero for a double feature of Heavy Traffic and American Pop, where he will discuss his career and show a clip from his new film Last Days of Coney Island. Heavy Traffic is Bakshi’s raucous follow-up to Fritz the Cat, while American Pop takes you through a musical cruise of rock and roll history.
