Author-Actor Eric Bogosian on the Armenian Genocide

Actor-writer Eric Bogosian joins writer-director Alexander Dinelaris, a recent Oscar winner for Birdman, for a Live Talks LA discussion at Glendale’s Alex Theatre on Bogosian’s latest book, Operation Nemesis: The Assassination Plot That Avenged the Armenian Genocide. The author, who’s of Armenian heritage, creates a riveting narrative out of the little-known true story of a secret band of revenge-seeking killers who targeted Turkish leaders in the early 1920s. Released in association with the 100th anniversary remembrances of the Armenian genocide, Bogosian based his latest book on existing research, plus some newly uncovered evidence. You’ll probably recognize him from his work as an actor (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Cadillac Records, Elementary) and as an award-winning monologuist, who’s starred in several acclaimed off-Broadway solo shows.
