Two giants of classic rock — Boston and REO Speedwagon — join forces for a night of favorite tunes at the Forum in Inglewood. Known for their killer pop hooks, Boston sold millions during the ’70s and ’80s with their catchy version of prog rock. Their self-titled debut was one of the fastest-selling pop debuts in history, spawning three hit singles that became American classics: “More Than a Feeling,” “Long Time” and “Peace of Mind.” REO Speedwagon is probably best known for the power ballad “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” which has been covered by everyone from Russell Brand (in the movie Rock of Ages) to Glee. A mainstay of classic rock radio, the band has sold more than 40 million records on the strength of irresistible tunes like “Roll With the Changes,” “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It on the Run.” Live, these guys can still get you out of your seat and dancing.
