Though still in her 20s, Chinese pianist Yuja Wang has already rocketed to the top of the classical music world with her astounding technical prowess and charismatic stage presence. She’s released several acclaimed albums, racked up awards — as well as a Grammy nomination — and has been hailed as nothing short of “the most dazzlingly, uncannily gifted pianist in the concert world today” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Now, to begin the Hollywood Bowl’s classical season with a bang, Wang will perform a colorful French and Russian program that includes Prokofiev’s Second Piano Concerto and Ravel’s dazzling Bolero. This concert features the fabulous Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra and is conducted by Lionel Bringuier.
