Ranging in length from a mere two minutes to 20 minutes, the Platinum Showcase of shorts being screened at Outfest Los Angeles’ LGBT Film Festival is long on experimentation and innovation. Eleven films cover a variety of topics, from drag to divas, from Mariah Carey to AIDS and everything in between with an eclectic mix of humor and pathos. You’ll have lots to talk about at the post-screening reception in the REDCAT: Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater lounge.
