Laemmle’s NoHo 7 (North Hollywood, CA)

Throwback Thursdays: "Risky Business"

Before Tom Cruise was the world’s biggest movie star, he was just an actor trying to make it in Hollywood. And then came Risky Business, the story of a Chicago teenager looking for a good time when his parents leave him home alone. Cruise slides across the floor in his dress shirt and underwear, liking that “Old Time Rock and Roll,” and a star is born. Watch Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay turn his house into a brothel (and learn a lesson or two) on the big screen at Laemmle’s NoHo 7, where Risky Business is playing as part of the Throwback Thursday Film Series. Each event features a gourmet food truck on-site, selling delicious edibles tied to that night’s film. Bring your food into the auditorium before the screening and enjoy a playlist of music specifically curated to match that night’s film.
