Jaco’s World: A Celebration of the Music of Jaco Pastorius

Host Herbie Hancock and music director Vince Mendoza lead a tribute to the late, great bass player Jaco Pastorius at the Hollywood Bowl. An all-star lineup of musicians will celebrate the life and music of the visionary player-composer who died tragically at only 35 years of age. Among the artists scheduled to perform are Will Lee, Felix Pastorius, Peter Erskine, Tierney Sutton, Bob Mintzer, Alex Acuña and others. Opening the show will be a living legend, jazz saxophonist Wayner Shorter and his Quartet.
