A.J. Croce Band

Singer-songwriter A.J. Croce has been following in the footsteps of his soft-rocking father Jim Croce since the age of 12, but was never stuck in his shadow. Instead, A.J. Croce has used his raspy voice and wry sensibility to become a star in his own right, recording with the likes of T-Bone Burnett and opening for artists like Willie Nelson, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. Following the 20th-anniversary reissue of his jazz-tinged 1995 album That’s Me in the Bar, Croce brings his band to Carpenter Performing Arts Center for a dinnertime concert of tunes combining contemporary blues and soulful roots rock.
