Julia Migenes’ illustrious career ranges from her Broadway debut as Zero Mostel’s daughter in the original cast of Fiddler on the Roof, to her Grammy Award-winning portrayal of the title role in the film Carmen opposite Plácido Domingo. She’s also sung leading roles with some of the world’s greatest opera companies, and recorded more then 20 albums. Her reputation for performing the works of the master composer Kurt Weill will be on shining display in this concert at the Odyssey Theatre. Accompanied simply by Mitsuko Morikawa on piano, Migenes will perform Weill’s best-known works in their original languages of German, French and English.
