A staged reading of the award-winning play A View From the Roof, written by playwright Dave Carley, will be performed at the MNjcc. This powerful and haunting jigsaw history – narrated by survivors of war – begins with the story of a young woman and her lover fleeing from war-torn Europe in 1938. The play is based on short stories written by the late Toronto writer Helen Weinzweig. Directed by Dave Carley and featuring Miriam Erlichman, Scott Kuipers and Margaret Rose.
