Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles, CA)

The dramatic, sweeping landscape of the Alps comes to life in Richard Strauss’ epic tone poem An Alpine Symphony. Revered conductor Semyon Bychkov leads the Los Angeles Philharmonic on this adventure, which begins in the mysterious hours before dawn, builds to the majesty of the summit and climaxes in an awesome mountain tempest, captured with thunder and wind machines. Also on the program: French virtuoso Renaud Capuçon will perform Mendelssohn’s much-loved Violin Concerto in E minor. Set off on a musical journey in this all-Romantic concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
