Grammy winner Childs will be paying tribute to legendary singer-songwriter Laura Nyro and her hit-filled songbook of Brill Building jazz-pop. Joining Childs, from his album Map to the Treasure: Reimagining Laura Nyro, is singer Becca Stevens, who Kurt Elling listed as one of his five favorite jazz vocalists, plus Alicia Olatuja and The Lyris Quartet. With his blend of pop, rock and classical music, Brad Mehldau is one of the most influential pianists of the last few decades. His innovative trio completes what promises to be a spectacular night of music.
