Get into the holiday groove with The Wave’s annual Christmas concert, featuring sax man Boney James and neo-soul crooner Eric Benét, along with Peter White, Mindi Abair and Rick Braun. A four-time Grammy nominee, James’ 2015 release futuresoul has already spent 11 weeks at the top spot on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart, and his recent appearances include a stop at The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. R&B singer-songwriter Eric Benét also boasts a quartet of Grammy nods, and several blockbuster hits, including “Spend My Life With You,” “Sometimes I Cry” and “You’re the Only One.” His last three albums all ended up in the U.S. R&B Top 10, too. Also scheduled to appear are smooth jazz guitarist Peter White with saxophonist Mindi Abair and trumpet player Rick Braun, who’ve toured the country as a holiday trio.
