Friday November 27th is going to be a real fun night at the Linsmore Tavern for British Invasion Month, as we welcome back, Notorious: Duran Duran Tribute Band!!! Notorious, played one of the best and most talked about shows of the year back in January as it was a sold out show! There have been many requests for the Linsmore to bring them back and it’s only fitting that they return for our British Invasion month!
Notorious recreates the energy and unique sound of the original band, featuring the widest range of material from their eponymous 1981 debut album to their latest global hit, All You Need Is Now. Not only can you expect a show packed with instantly recognizable classics such as Hungry Like The Wolf, Rio, Save A Prayer, Girls On Film, Ordinary World, and Planet Earth but also other gems such as Serious, All She Wants Is and even some songs from the Power Station!
The live sound and image faithfully recreates the 2004 original lineup when Simon le Bon and Nick Rhodes were rejoined by John, Andy and Roger Taylor to release the Astronaut album and perform on their subsequent world tour which was met to unanimous universal acclaim. Since then the newest album, All You Need is Now, harkens back to their immensely popular sound of the early 1980’s similar in spirit to Rio, one of the classic pop rock albums of all time.
