Scarborough Seedy Saturday and Green Fair

Come to the SCARBOROUGH SEEDY SATURDAY and GREEN FAIR on Saturday April 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place at Blessed Cardinal Newman Catholic High School, 100 Brimley Road South (south of Kingston Road).

Learn how to live more sustainably, exchange seeds with other seed savers, buy heirloom and organic seeds and learn more about the nature around us. Join in one of our various gardening and environmental workshops . Looking for answers to your garden questions? Then stop by one of our local garden clubs’ tables or the Toronto Master Gardeners booth and ask an expert!

This day promises to be fun for everyone. Over 60 exhibitors will include heirloom seed vendors, green exhibits, bee products, worm composting ,Scarborough parks, garden associations and regional environmental organizations. Returning favourites include Urban Harvest, Matchbox Gardens, Cathy’s Crawly Composters, Urban Nature Store. The Bee Shop, LEAF, the TRCA ,Seeds of Diversity ,Friends of the Rouge Watershed and many more!

New this year – the Scarborough Community Garden Network booth. Sign up to join our network and put your garden on the map!

Be a steward and bring in your used electronics for recycling! And there will be kids events too brought to you by BEAT from Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate and St.Agatha Catholic School.

Admittance is $2.00 or Pay What You Can.
