Join Darlene Wang de Martinez, director and principal dancer, and members of Baila Boogoaloo Dance Company in SALSA at the Sony Centre for a super fun, easy to learn, ‘caliente’ beginner salsa lesson!
Led by Joaquin E. Martinez and Darlene Wang de Martinez, Baila Boogaloo Dance Company performance troupe and teaching school boasts energy and passion! The Baila Boogaloo Dance Co. offers classes Salsa, Bacahta, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, Cumbia and Casino Rueda. Housing several lead instructors and assistants, they can be found teaching private and public classes throughout the week.
SALSA at the Sony Centre
Location: 1 Front Street East (enter through entrance on Yonge St.)
Dates: Tuesdays March 1, 22 and 29
Time: 5:30-6:30PM
Doors Open: 5:15PM
No previous dance experience required. No partner required, but you will be dancing with other members of the class. Please wear smooth soled shoes, dress shoes or socks – no outside shoes or shoes with tread. The class has a capacity of 33 students and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Enter via the Yonge Street Entrance located on Yonge Street in between Esplanade and Front.
