Monday July 18th, 2016 (Toronto, ON) – Rap Season is proud to host Chance the Rapper at an all-ages show at TD Echo Beach on Tuesday September 27th and Wednesday September 28th.
Chance the Rapper is an America hip-hop recording artist originally from Chicago Illinois. Since he released his breakout mix tape, Acid Rap in 2013, followed by releasing his highly successful mixtape Coloring Book in May 2016 on Apple Music, Chance has gained major international recognition and critical acclaim. Most recently, Chance was announced as part of the lineup for the Made in American Festival in Philadelphia on Labour Day weekend.
Forgoing signing with a major label, the Chicago rapper has remained independent, while steadily vaulting himself to the upper echelons of the hip-hop universe through rigorous touring and a steady dose of choice guest spots on songs from high-profile artists such as Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne and Skrillex. Chance is known for his lyrical chops which have made him an "artist's artist" placing him in elite company by his peers.
