Talk Is Free Theatre stages a revolutionary rendition of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, transforming downtown Barrie, Ontario into the song & dance filled streets of River City, Iowa, from Sept. 14 – Oct. 2, 2016. This roving, immersive show follows leading man, con artist Professor Harold Hill, on his hustle throughout Barrie. Audiences will be whisked from one city site to another to witness the whimsical tale amongst unsuspecting local residents. The cast of more than 60, including barbershop quartet and full brass band, will regale with rousing marches and heartwarming ballads, such as Seventy-Six Trombones, Shipoopi, and Till There Was You. See theatre history in the making with one of the largest-ever outdoor productions in Canada!
