The one mans show, 'They Came From Away' will have its toronto debut at St Lukes United Church on Oct. 14th at 8pm. This showed has criss crossed the country for over 4 yrs to critical acclaim and tells the stories of 5 characters who were marooned in Gander newfoundland on 9/11. The 6500 passengers grounded at Gander airport. Many were aken in by locals and this kitchen party on stage gives 5 distinct impressions of that week with humour and highlights the hospitality of the 'salt of the earth' Newfoundlanders who treated them as family. Tickets are 15$ cash at the door and students are $10. All ages are welcome and the location is corner Sherbourne and Carlton streets.
