We're very lucky to have duo La Forcelle here in Toronto, all the way from France, to kick off our 4th Balfolk Toronto Season!
This will be a special costumed bal masqué – dress up and make a mask – there will be prizes…
Balfolk Toronto hosts dance events open to everyone who wants to learn traditional social dances! On October 14 the focus will be on French dances: partner dances, group dances alike, with a live band direct from France. No experience necessary – but feel free to come to the dance lesson at 8pm so you can properly enjoy the night!
8pm – 9pm: doors and dance lesson
9pm – midnight: live music, crepes, costume prizes and drinks!
