It's now felt within Vinod Chopra's production house that Hirani's Munnabhai legacy can be handed over to another director without mishap.
Recently, Vidhu Vinod Chopra invited the Big B to view his new film Ferrari Ki Sawaari. Apparently, the Big B loved the film and told the delighted producer so.
Says Chopra proudly, "Mr. Bachchan saw the rough cut and loved it. It took us four years to write Ferrari Ki Sawaari. When we could've worked with any of the big stars after 3 Idiots, we chose to work with Sharman Joshi. We're very proud of Ferrari Ki Sawaari. It will be one of the biggest in the history of Indian cinema. You can put that on record. But that's not why we made it."
