The 2012 Copenhagen Masters have been getting underway on Thursday 27th December 2012, at Falconer Hall, Frederlksberg, DenmarkIndia from 27 to 28 December 2012.
This worldwide badminton tournament spectators will watch the some of the world’s best players has always been get together for this tournament during the last days of Christmas. The world’s best players will be doing battle in four categories: women’s singles, men’s singles, men’s doubles and mix doubles. The matches will be taken place on just one court where the audience sit very close to the court and players, which give the audience an incredible experience with world-class badminton.
There will be a Peter Gade last match on this event, the world famous badminton player for more than a decade so spectators will have the chance so give him a memorable farewell.
In the evening, Men’s Singles Semifinals will be played between Jan O. Jorgensen, Denmark with Boonsak Ponsana, Thailand and Lin Dan, China vs Peter Gade, Denmark. In Men’s Doubles Semifinals, Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen, Denmark – Ricky Karanda Suwardi/Muhammad Ulinnuha, Indonesia. In Mixed doubles, Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen, Denmark playing with Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati, Indonesia.
In 2011 Women’s singles was won by Inthanon Ratchanok, Thailand while Men’s singles was won by Jan o. Jorgensen, Denmark. In 2011 Men’s doubles was won by Mathias Boe / Carsten Mogensen, Denmark. However, Mixed doubles was won by Joachim Fischer / Christinna Pedersen, Denmark.
