Of late, Sonakshi Sinha seems to have taken a sudden liking to women-centric roles – from Akira to Force 2 to Noor the actress has three films which has her either in action packed or strong roles. And now we have got a glimpse of the actress from the upcoming comedy crime thriller Noor.
Based on the novel 'Karachi You're Killing Me' by Saba Imtiaz, Sonakshi Sinha plays the role of a journalist. While the book is set in Pakistan, Noor Roy Chaudhry played by Sonakshi Sinha is a 20s something exploring life and its intricacies in Mumbai. As she sets out on a journey filled with adventures that often lead to mishaps, the story also takes us through the life of this journalist amidst her relationships, family, ambitions and dreams.
Noor, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra and directed by ad filmmaker Sunhil Sippy, is slated to go on floor this month once Sonakshi returns from New York. It is being said that the film will be shot in one long schedule and the makers are expected to wrap it up by August.
