Is ANYBODY surprised that Australian billionaire James Packer changed his mind about marrying Mariah Carey? Last year when they met, the coupling seemed like a good idea. Both have high school educations and enjoy attention. He’s wealthy and she likes to spend money. Packer was enchanted with Mariah’s glamorous lifestyle and friends, and they both loved yachting and vacationing on tropical islands.
But like Packer’s infatuation with Scientology (thanks to Tom Cruise) the novelty wore off. Packer observed how high maintenance and self-indulgent Mariah is, and we think he just got tired of waiting for her to “get ready” with the help of her beauty staff, night after night before they went out. He probably pictured himself holding her up in her high heels for years to come, and came to his senses!
