Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and his son Hrithik are totally flabbergasted by the leakage of the trailer of Kaabil hours before its official release. “And mind you, it was a high-definition print of the leaked trailer. Which means it was professional’s job. This dirty deed was done on Tuesday evening at 7 pm. We were supposed to formally release the trailer on Wednesday morning at 10 am. But after the leakage we preponed the release. We had the trailer officially up on the internet at 8 pm on Tuesday night.”

Rakesh Roshan intends to take the strongest possible action against the bootleggers. “We had to quickly change all our elaborate plans. Otherwise the impact of our trailer would have been lost. It is shocking. Who are the people who do such evil things? We know the agencies where our trailer was sent .So it will be not so difficult to track down the perpetrators of this crime. I intend to take the strongest action against the people responsible for the leakage of the trailer.”

Rakesh Roshan thinks film piracy must be stopped to save the film industry. “It is becoming an epidemic. If we don’t stop it we are doomed.”

On a more positive note he is happy with the response to the trailer. “Hrithik, Sanjay Gupta (the director of Kaabil) and I are overwhelmed with the positive response to the trailer. Thank you, all.”
