Just a day ago, we reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ambitious venture Padmavati has gone on floor at a suburban studio in Mumbai. The beginning of the same was kick started with celebrations and Ranveer Singh, decided to surprise costume designer Rimple Narula on the sets of the film.
It was Rimple Narula’s birthday a day ago and the actor decided to make her working birthday special by even organizing a cake cutting ceremony for her amidst the unit. Rimple took to Instagram to share this selfie collage with Ranveer and others and captioned the same saying, “Birthday surprise #filmcity #birthdaygirl #birthdaysurprises #bollywoodstyle #friendsforever #fun #mumbai #lovedit #ranveersingh #birthdaycake #bestbirthdayever #birthdaypresent.”
On the other hand, we hear that Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the producer and director of Padmavati, has decided to increase security around the sets of the film. Apparently, the makers are taking extreme measures to keep the looks of the actors under wraps. The film is a historic drama with Ranveer Singh playing the anti-hero Alauddin Khilji. We hear that besides increasing the number of security personnel, Ranveer, Deepika and Shahid will be guarded constantly, even while they are walking from the sets to their vanity vans. Apparently the trio will be escorted to the vanity van in make-shift tents.
Padmavati also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor as Rani Padmavati and her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh respectively in the film.
