Readers may recall that we had reported about Akshay Kumar being signed up for the quirkily titled film Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, which has Bhumi Pednekar playing his onscreen heroine.
Today, we bring to you photograph of the first day of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s shoot for Neeraj Pandey’s satirical comedy Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, which took place in the city of Mathura. Akshay Kumar, who was looking at his casual best in the adjoining photograph, was seen waving to the crowds who had gathered to see the film’s shooting.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar took to the social media and posted a photograph of himself alongwith Bhumi Pednekar with a toilet as a ‘backdrop’. Akshay Kumar captioned the photograph as “A very good morning from Bhumi and me from the sets of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha! First day it is…need your best wishes #TEPK”.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Abundantia Entertainment along with Friday Filmworks, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha is reported to be a light hearted film with a realistic touch. Besides Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, Akshay Kumar has films like Jolly LLB 2, Robot 2.0, Crack and Gold in his kitty.
