The mysterious case of (late) Jiah Khan’s death seems to be opening a new chapter every now and then. After all the twists, turns and mudslinging, the latest update on the said case is that Aditya Pancholi, his wife Zarina and daughter Sana Pancholi have now reportedly filed a contempt petition against (late) Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan in the Bombay High Court yesterday.
The reason being, despite an (earlier) statement given by Rabia Khan that she would refrain from making defamatory statements against them, she continued that through her twitter handle.
Readers may recall that, in 2014, the Pancholi family had filed a defamation suit of Rs. 100 crore against Rabia in lieu of the defamatory statements made by her before the media as well as on social media. The Pancholis had termed the said tweets as ‘slanderous’, ‘defamatory’ and ‘abusive’.
In all possibilities, the aforementioned petition is likely to be heard next week.
