Arjun Kapoor slapped with a legal notice by BMC over illegal construction

A few months ago, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had issued notices to Kapil Sharma and Irrfan Khan for illegal constructions at their Goregaon residences. Now, another actor who has come under BMC’s radar is Arjun Kapoor. BMC has slapped Arjun Kapoor with a legal notice over illegal construction on his terrace.

According to a report in a leading daily, Arjun Kapoor who lives on the 7th floor of Raheja Orchid Apartment in Juhu Mumbai, had encroached a gym on the terrace without taking proper permission. The illegal construction of gym has been brought to light by an activist and not the residents of the building. This is the second time that he has been issued a notice for illegal construction. The first notice was issued in March and the second one was issued last week.

BMC has sent a notice to allow the municipal staff on his premises so that they could demolish the unauthorized structure. While the BMC is planning to demolish it, Arjun Kapoor’s manager has reached out to the K-West ward officer, assistant municipal commissioner Parag Masurkar, requesting him to buy himself more time after stating that the irregularities would be regularized.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will be seen in Mohit Suri’s film Half Girlfriend alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
