Anil Kapoor, known for his evergreen roles like Lakhan and Mr.India, is all set to share screen space with nephew-actor Arjun Kapoor for the first time in Mubarakan. If that wasn’t enough, the duo’s next is a comedy film, a genre that the veteran Kapoor has aced time and again. While earlier we got a glimpse of the dual role that Arjun will be seen in, here’s presenting yet another look of another character from Mubarakan.
Anil Kapoor plays the role of Kartar Singh and confirming the same, the actor took to Twitter to post a picture along with a small note saying, “Everytime I take on a new role the first reveal of the look is always exciting!! I present to you “Kartar Singh” of #Mubarakan !!!” Just like one of Arjun’s characters in his twin role, Anil Kapoor too will play a sardar, sporting a pagdi (turban).
Mubarkan is said to be a film, set at the backdrop of a big fat Indian wedding, with Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty playing the leading ladies. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film already went on floors in Chandigarh a couple of months ago and it is slated to release on July 28.
