Kaabil is doing very well in theatres and has managed to keep the numbers coming in with good momentum despite just 40% screens at its disposal. While the Sanjay Gupta directed film has come close to the Rs. 70 crore mark already, it seemed obvious that a success party was in the offering from Roshans.
When questioned, this is what producer Rakesh Roshan said with a smile, “Well, we are actually celebrating every day and every hour right from the time the first promo was unveiled to this very point. We are doing very well with just 40% screens. We are a small film with a big heart and this is reflecting in the way audiences are responding to it as well. They have filled this heart with a lot of love.”
The Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam film was running to packed houses on Sunday and with theatres opening to good footfalls again today, a very good number is on the anvil.
