While everyone has been reaping the joys of a long weekend, Bollywood celebrities had come together under one roof on Saturday for the Zee Cine Awards 2017.
Alia Bhatt had a great evening not just because she paid tribute to her mentor Karan Johar and his production team but also because she won the Best Actress award for Udta Punjab. Not just that, she was felicitated by none other than her idol Kareena Kapoor Khan who literally made her night. Alia was quick enough to snap a selfie with Kareena and her team and wrote, “Backstage fun with my fav.”
Paying tribute to her family aka Dharma Productions and Karan Johar, she wrote, “Last night for #zeecineawards have a tribute to my family – Dharma Productions!!!” For the event, Alia donned a desi avatar wearing a saree.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania starring Varun Dhawan has hit the theatres last Friday which is helmed by Shashank Khaitan. Soon, Alia will start prepping for Ayan Mukerji’s superhero flick tentatively titled Dragon which stars Ranbir Kapoor.
