Deepika Padukone made her debut at the Met Gala 2017 which is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. Celebrities across different genres come together and go all out with their costumes for the MET ball.
Marking her place in the West, Deepika Padukone was a vision in a white in a Tommy Hilfiger satin gown as she walked the red carpet with the designer. Not just that, it seemed liked she has already made quite a lot of friends in the West. She was seen having a chill time in the bathroom where most of the celebs came to take a break from the gala.
Deepika Padukone was spotted with Gone Girl actress and supermodel Emily Ratajkowski and renowned designer Prabal Gurung. The two leggy girls were seen making duck faces whilst Prabal clicked pictures with them. This wasn’t the first time Deepika and Emily bonded. They first met earlier this year during the New York Fashion Week.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Padmavati opposite Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. It is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
