Priyanka Chopra loves to be in a front of a camera. Be it for an acting gig or a photo shoot, the actress knows how to skip heartbeats. In her newly released breathtaking photo shoots, Priyanka Chopra has been featured on six different summer covers of Modern Luxury magazines.
For Modern Luxury’s Angeleno, Priyanka Chopra can be seen wearing a gypsy style yellow off-the-shoulder top. In an interview with Modern Luxury magazine in their May 2017 issue, Priyanka revealed that she was once replaced from a film because her schedule didn’t match up with the leading actor’s. “Once, a producer told my manager that if I couldn’t adjust dates according to the male actors, then I would be replaced because women are replaceable in films when there’s a big male actor. I was replaced, and it felt terrible… Instances like that made me think about how I could be irreplaceable. What could I do to make myself strong enough [that] no one would have the audacity to say that to me or do that to me again?”
For Modern Luxury’s CS cover, Priyanka has draped a blue silk dress. Talking about how she got into acting, she said, “Nobody knew I could act. I didn’t know I could act,’ she revealed to the publication. When you’re casting Miss World in a movie, it [makes] business sense. So, I learned on the job. Everything I have learned today has been on the job.”
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for her first Hollywood release Baywatch starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. It is scheduled to release on June 2 in India.
