Here’s how the Bill Gates from Half Girlfriend actually looks like!

A couple of weeks ago, we saw the Arjun Kapoor – Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend hit screens. Directed by Mohit Suri the film which was an adaptation of the Chetan Bhagat novel by the same name, opened to a good response at the box office. But we are not talking about the film’s business, instead for those who have watched the film or for that matter, haven’t yet, we are talking about the sequence when Bill Gates, yes the founder of Windows, makes an appearance in the film.

But before you wonder how the makers of a Bollywood film managed to get Bill Gates to make a special appearance, we must tell you that it wasn’t really the man himself, but instead a look alike aided with some visual effects who managed to recreate Gates on screen. Though the said sequence wherein Bill Gates makes an appearance came as a surprise (or shock?), we came across these images of the shooting for the same scene featuring the Gates’ lookalike on sets of Half Girlfriend.

Seen here sitting on a couch is the unknown likeness of one the richest people on earth, and the black spots on his face aren’t really beauty spots, instead they are markers which are usually used later to superimpose the morphed image of Gates. However, despite the fact that the makers of Half Girlfriend tried their hand at some VFX, sadly they seemed to have had the budget just for the sepia mode. In fact, the finished product that hit screens across the nation saw a rather expressionless Bill Gates, in sepia strut up to his front row couch.

After this, we can’t help but wonder, what will be the real Bill Gates’ reaction if he ever watches this?
