Shah Rukh Khan met up with Gujarat’s Chief Minister recently. Here’s why!

Immediately after the poster launch of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal, the film’s makers started off on a promotional drive. While on one hand, there have been mini teasers of the film which are being aired; on the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan himself is not leaving any stone unturned for the same.

Recently, as a part of the film’s publicity campaign, Shah Rukh Khan announced that he wanted to visit that city which had the maximum girls with the name ‘Sejal’. The city chosen was Gujarat, which had the maximum number of ‘Sejals’. Besides meeting the Sejals, Shah Rukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali also unveiled Jab Harry Met Sejal’s first song ‘Meri Radha’ in Ahmedabad.  Shah Rukh Khan also met up with Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at his official residence. Shah Rukh Khan posted the photograph on the social media with the caption “Thk u hon’ble CM @vijayrupanibjp for regaling us with ur stories of the past struggles & vision of ur future dreams”.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Jab Harry Met Sejal stars Anushka Sharma. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film is all set to release on August 4 this year.
