Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on his birthday, had sent some letters to many personalities from all over the country asking them to participate in the Swachh Bharat campaign. To spread awareness about cleanliness, Anushka Sharma had accepted the invite sent by the PM.
Anushka Sharma had tweeted the letter with a message that read, “Happy Birthday to our honourable PM @narendramodi ji.Thank you Sir for the invitation to join the #SwachhataHiSeva movement. I am honoured to be a part of #SwachhBharat campaign and will do my best for the noble initiative of #SwachhataHiSeva.”
On Friday morning, Anushka Sharma visited the popular Versova beach in Mumbai along with other residents for a cleanliness drive. She helped everyone clean the beach as they made a great progress. She even shared a before and after a photograph of the beach after it was cleaned. Anushka Sharma was seen in a white tee with an unbuttoned checkered shirt and black leggings. She opted for a pair of sunglasses and pink sneakers
On the work front, Anushka Sharma will soon begin shooting for Aanand L Rai’s untitled film with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Besides this, she is starring in her third production Pari and Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic. She is also starring in YRF’s next Sui-Dhaaga Made in India with Varun Dhawan.
