“Nobody can make Singham in Hindi because the copyrights are with us and even they (Sunny Deol) are not doing that, it’s just a rumor,” said Rohit Shetty in a Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview with Faridoon Shahryar. So you’re saying that the rumours of Sunny Deol helming Singham 3 are wrong? “We are the right holders of Singham and definitely we’ll make Singham. At present we don’t have a story; me and Ajay Devgn have started thinking on it. After Golmaal Again if we do something together it should be Singham. Whether it will happen or not or we make another Golmaal or jump into something totally new, we don’t know. But the doors are open and we are thinking on Singham also and we’ll make it definitely because it’s a big franchise now,” Rohit said emphatically.
Singham Returns has been the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn. “Yes it opened really well. Rs 33 crore first day was phenomenal,” Rohit said. Hope this puts all rumours to rest.
