It seems like legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is touched by Bollywood’s action star Akshay Kumar’s gesture. But the reason behind the veteran actor being embarrassed with Akshay is not on account of some words that were mentioned or for that matter a joke; instead it was because of what Akshay attempted to do at the recently held closing ceremony of IFFI.

At the event, wherein Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year award, Akshay Kumar attempted to touch the megastar’s feet and it was this gesture that surprised the actor. Taking to the micro blogging website, Amitabh Bachchan who is pretty active on social media posted, “Embarrassed that Akshay does this .. no Akshay this is not done”.

Posting the images Amitabh Bachchan added, “A most humbling evening at the IFFI awards .. honoured and filled with such gratefulness to IFFI and the extremely endearing words by Akshay Kumar, Karan, and the dignitaries .. मेरा आभार , स्नेह”.

Later taking to his blog to thank the I&B Minister Smriti Irani, Amitabh Bachchan posted another image from the felicitation ceremony saying “Kind and generous words .. epithets and exulting adjectives of praise .. special items of recognition performed by fellow colleagues on stage .. the acknowledgment of the audience .. their applause and their cheers .. And that lump in the throat, as the eyes begin to well up with tears .. Thank you Smriti ji Hon Minister for Information & Broadcasting and the trouble you took in organising a most memorable evening for me .. one that I shall never forget ..”
