Last night witnessed a starry turnout of tinsel town celebs on the red carpet of the HT Most Stylish Awards 2018. A first of its kind, the HT Most Stylish Awards 2018, to fete the iconic and stylish stars of Bollywood transpired at the Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, Mumbai. The seventh edition of these Awards saw the who’s who of tinsel town turn up the glamor quotient on the red carpet and floor us with their stylish offerings. Making those sartorial statements with their luxe designer ensembles coupled with a spirited demeanour and a wow-worthy poise, the stars who made this night a dazzling affair included Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, Mira Rajput, Diana Penty, Kiara Advani, Vaani Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. But the men of tinsel town too turned heads with their dapper style game and included Varun Dhawan, Ayushmann Khurrana and Shahid Kapoor. Deepika Padukone bagged the India’s Most Stylish Award, Rekha snagged the Hall Of Fame Award, Sridevi bagged the Style Legend Award and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bagged the Timeless Style Diva Award. The show also witnessed a sizzling performance from Monica Dogra and Shibani Dandekar With endearing moments like Kamal Haasan accepting the Hall of Fame award from his Sadma co-star Sridevi and Rekha gushing about her mother and why Kanjeevaram sarees were so close to her heart, the show struck the right chord with the attendees.
The HT Most Stylish Awards 2018 honoured the best and most stylish actors, business honchos, sports stars, politicians for making their respective fields more fashionable. Here’s a closer look at the sartorial offerings of the stars from the red carpet.
Deepika Padukone
The diva was styled by Shaleena Nathani and picked out a stunning pink Kanjeevaram saree teamed with a matching blouse. She rounded out the look with a gold choker from Tanishq Jewellery, a subtle makeup of heavily lined eyes, nude lips, courtesy makeup artist Sandhya Shekar and a chic hairdo, courtesy hair stylist Yianni Tsapatori.
Parineeti Chopra
Styled by Sanjana Batra, Parineeti chose a nude toned Sajed Majek gown featuring a bodycon fitting with a trailing hemline and accessorized her look with earrings from Mahesh Notandass Fine Jewelery, rings from Prakashi Fine Jewellery. A subtle makeup of smokey eyes, nude lips and highlighted cheekbones, courtesy makeup artist Heema Dattani courtesy and blow dried sleek hair, courtesy hair stylist Gohar Shaikh rounded out her look.
Sonakshi Sinha
Exuding those Bawse Lady vibes with a Nikhil Thampi metallic and nude creation, Sonakshi Sinha who was styled by Mohit Rai kept the simple yet powerful vibe going with a choker from Prakashi Fine Jewellery and black pointy toes from Only Two Feet. She rounded out the look with a subtle makeup, courtesy makeup artist Vardan Nayak and a chic low back pony, courtesy hair stylist Madhuri Nakhale.
Varun Dhawan
The dapper dude, Varun Dhawan ditched the conventional red carpet suit and chose a nude toned ensemble featuring a shirt with embellishment on the pocket and loose trousers with a pair of combat boots and a well-groomed mane giving the look a crisp finish.
Taapsee Pannu
Styled by Devki Bhatt, Taapsee Pannu went edgy on the red carpet by teaming an Ashish N Soni jacket with Avaro Figlio flared pants and accessorised the look with earrings from H. Ajoomal Jewellery and a statement ring from Minawala Jewellers. Makeup artist Nicky Rajani gave her a flawless makeup of lined eyes, nude lips and a sleek side parted updo.
Shahid Kapoor – Mira Rajput
While Mira Rajput kept things classy and fabulous in a white Monisha Jaising gown, earrings from H. Ajoomal Jewellery, rings from Prakashi Fine Jewellery, Shahid Kapoor quirked it up in a grid printed suit from Gaurav Gupta and a crisp white shirt from Rohit Gandi + Rahul Khanna. With a subtle makeup and blow dried sleek hair, Mira Rajput perfectly complimented her husband, Shahid Kapoor. The duo was styled by Anisha Jain of Style Cell.
Diana Penty
Styled by Kritika Gill, Diana picked out a stunning gold creation by Manish Malhotra featuring a dramatic fringed bodice and worked it to the hilt with dark eyes, nude lips and a chic hairdo.
Kiara Advani
The petite actress chose a similar Manish Malhotra creation as Diana Penty’s featuring a fringed hemline and cape sleeves. A chic low back pony and a subtle makeup finished out her look.
Vaani Kapoor
Going risqué on the red carpet, Vaani Kapoor who was styled by Mohit Rai chose a black thigh-high slit gown from Redemption accessorised with ring from Gehna Jewellers and stilettos from Berleigh. Makeup artist Adrian Jacobs gave her a subtle yet striking makeup of soft dark eyes and nude lips while hair stylist Aasif Ahmed gave her a sleek blow dried centre-parted hairdo.
Ayushmann Khurrana
Keeping things classy in a Canali suit with Louboutin formal shoes and a silk pocket square from The Tie Hub, Ayushmann cut quite a dapper picture on the red carpet.
